Thoroughly genuine and helpful porter/receptionist. Discounted taxi arrangement to the airport. Toiletries provided in the bathroom. Convenient location in Colombo 5. The hotel was conveniently located close to restaurants, which was great as we arrived late at night. the room was clean, but quite small.
The hotel misadvertised the room as having a balcony, which was disappointing.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is commendable. This hotel is a great find! The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and even have a balcony. The staff is attentive and the service is excellent. The location is perfect, as it is close to everything and in the center of the city. Additionally, the breakfast provided is delicious and the basic amenities are all in place.

The Austin Residence By Unique Hotels is a real gem. the value for money is exceptional. For such a reasonable price, you get wonderful service, comfortable rooms with high ceilings and a balcony to enjoy the view. Secondly, the location is perfect. Despite being in a rather run-down neighborhood, it is quite close to one or two restaurants which was a relief as we arrived late at night. Lastly, the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. They are attentive, friendly, and truly make you feel at home.
Nothing to complain about, everything was great.

The hotel is modern with great amenities and is located conveniently close to the city center. the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with toiletries provided in the bathroom, which was a nice touch. the staff was very helpful and accommodating with arranging a discounted taxi ride.
The hotel had a strict rule prohibiting alcohol in the rooms, which may not suit everyone's preferences. traffic in the area could be congested in the evenings.
